The principal of the firm, Philip Saunders, Jr., Ph.D., brings a combination of expertise and experience generally found only among a team of individuals at a much larger firm. He is a trained economist with an extensive history of qualitative and quantitative analysis. He has over 30 years of investment, management, merger and acquisition, consulting, and bankruptcy experience. Dr. Saunders has academic economic training and credentials combined with "real world" experience in investment and finance.

The variety of matters in which PSA's economic and financial expertise has been effective is extensive. Litigation has included commercial disputes, bankruptcy, personal injury and related cases, intellectual property, and environmental matters. Valuations have been for gift and estate taxation, stockholder disputes, employee compensation, divorce, and litigation. Other assignments have included corporate ownership structure, due diligence reviews, problem loan reviews, investigation of diversion of assets and fraud, reorganization in bankruptcy, liquidation, interim management, and trusteeship.

PSA provides litigation support to both plaintiffs and defendants. Dr. Saunders has been qualified as an expert in Federal District Courts in Massachusetts, New York, and Ohio, in Superior courts and the Land Court in Massachusetts, and in Federal Bankruptcy Court.

Dr. Saunders has served as a Chapter 7 Trustee, Chapter 11 Trustee, and Examiner for the United States Bankruptcy Court.
